Project Management
Successful project drive change and create value to the organization. Professional project management is about more than simply managing a sequence of steps in order to deliver a project on time. Project managers must be able to do that for certain, but also must be capable of managing diverse and sometimes conflicting interests, incorporating customer needs and expectations, managing multiple relationships both internal and external to the organization, and operating within the corporate culture and climate in order to deliver the project on time, within budget and within expectations of the stakeholders.
Project management is more than establishing a Gantt chart. It is a profession that requires training and discipline, an understanding of leadership, organizational dynamics, and of the links between project activities and operations, e.g. the interaction between project activities and manufacturing, logistics, procurement and aftermarket support.
The ability to launch and complete new projects quickly and successfully is key to business growth, and the professionalism of any project organization is key to this capability.
Trident Consulting LLC offers courses designed to provide project managers with core technical skills, such as planning, change control, risk management, budgeting, and others while maintaining awareness of how projects impact organizations and may interface with operations.
