Chris Akins

Chris Akins - President, and Chairman of the Board of Directors

Chris is a seasoned corporate executive and entrepreneur with extensive international experience.  He founded Trident Consulting, LLC in 2000 with a vision of providing professional training and consulting services that focused not only on individual functional capabilities, but on integrating all of the organizations functions into a synergistic entity.  He believes the most successful organizations operate not as distinct departmental functions serving individual goals, but as a cooperative aiming to accomplish the organizations strategic objectives.  Hence Trident’s motto: “Professional Training and Consulting Services for Business Integration.”

Roy Nethken

Roy Nethken - Chief Operations Officer

Roy has worked in increasing executive positions in aerospace, defense, and government for over 35 years. Roy was a career US Air Force officer, where he was a manager, aircraft maintenance, and a director, aircraft maintenance training for T-37, T-38, F-4, F-15, F-16, and A-10 fighter aircraft.He also served as the Director, Logistics Planning and Programs where he was the primary focal for the deployment, reconstitution, and redeployment for an entire fighter aircraft fighter wing for Operation Desert Shield / Desert Storm.
After 22 years in the US Air Force, Roy worked for Hughes Aircraft Company as the Director, Logistics and Training. He was the program manager for the development of a ground radar defense system for the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) for the national defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Kris Kluge

Kris Kluge - Head of Business Development

Kris Kluge, 45, has twenty years of experience in government contract management. He has a BS in Business Administration from North Dakota State University and an MBA in Management from Golden Gate University. Kris is a retired senior Air Force Officer. His outstanding leadership ability led to his selection as Commander, Headquarters Squadron, at Williams AFB, AZ, in 1988. As a management intern at Rockwell International in 1991, Kris was a Program Manager on the Peacekeeper ICBM, followed by becoming the Contract Manager on the Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle in 1994. He has been recognized as Air Force Space Command’s Outstanding Contracting Officer of the Year, and has been a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) since 1996. Kris culminated his Air Force career as the Chief, Acquisitions, at the Air Force’s National Air & Space Intelligence Center at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.
